Terms of Use

1.1 Scope

These TOU apply to all use of the Ges-sco platform, regardless of the access method and device used.

1.2 Acceptance

Use of the platform implies unconditional acceptance of these TOU. This acceptance is formalized by the checkbox during account creation.

1.3 Modification of TOU

Ges-sco reserves the right to modify these TOU at any time. Users will be informed of changes by email and must accept the new terms to continue using the service.

2.1 Purpose of the service

Ges-sco is a comprehensive school management platform offering administrative, educational and financial management features for educational institutions.

2.2 Main features

• Student and staff management
• Educational tracking and assessments
• Financial and accounting management
• Internal and external communication
• Reports and statistics

2.3 Service evolution

Ges-sco commits to regularly evolving the platform to improve performance and add new features.

3.1 Account creation

Access to certain platform features requires creating a user account. The information provided must be accurate, complete and up to date.

3.2 Credential confidentiality

The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any use of their account is presumed to be made by the user.

3.3 Account suspension

Ges-sco reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend any account in case of violation of these TOU or suspicious activity.

4.1 Ges-sco's rights

The Ges-sco platform, its content, logos, and all its elements are the exclusive property of Ges-sco and are protected by intellectual property law.

4.2 License to use

Ges-sco grants the user a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the platform in accordance with these TOU.

4.3 User content

The user retains intellectual property over content they upload to the platform, while granting Ges-sco a license for their processing.

5.1 Pricing terms

Access to the Ges-sco platform may be subject to a subscription whose pricing terms are specified in the quote accepted by the user.

5.2 Billing and payment

Invoices are issued at the agreed frequency and are payable within 30 days from their issue date.

5.3 Rate changes

Ges-sco reserves the right to modify its rates by informing the user with 30 days notice.

6.1 User obligations

The user agrees to use the platform in accordance with its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

6.2 Ges-sco warranty

Ges-sco commits to providing the service with due diligence and according to best practices, it being understood that it is only bound by an obligation of means.

6.3 Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ges-sco shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the platform.

7.1 Data collection

Ges-sco collects and processes personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

7.2 Processing purposes

Data is collected for the provision of the service, platform improvement and compliance with legal obligations.

7.3 Individual rights

In accordance with regulations, users have the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data.

8.1 Duration

These TOU are concluded for an indefinite period from the date of their acceptance.

8.2 Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement by giving 30 days written notice.

8.3 Consequences of termination

In case of termination, access to the platform will be deactivated and the user's data will be retained in accordance with legal provisions.

9.1 Applicable law

These TOU are governed by applicable law. In case of discrepancy between the original version and a translated version, the original version prevails.

9.2 Mediation

In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before any legal action.

9.3 Jurisdiction

In case of mediation failure, the competent courts will be called upon to settle the dispute.

10.1 Entirety

These TOU constitute the entire agreement between the parties and replace any prior agreement.

10.2 Partial nullity

If any provision of these TOU is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
